Darlene Langston

Oakland California native Darlene Langston began her musical career as a soloist and educator at the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Richmond California. 

Ms. Langston later received classical music training at California Sate University, Hayward, going on to perform as a soloist with the Oakland opera, as well as the lamplighters Gilbert and Sullivan ensemable.

In 2005 Ms. langston focused her career on night club and caberet performance.

Darlene Langston’s repertoire reflects her love of the Great American Songbook as well as her continued interest in the blues and Tin Pan Alley traditions.

Ms. Langston has  released three recording colllections: Imagination, Blue Prelude, and Street of Dreams.
